Inktober 2025

Für den Inktober habe ich mir vorgenommen, die Prompts mit einem übergreifenden geschichtlichen Thema zu verknüpfen. Zumindest grob. Hintergrund ist, dass ich plane, in Zukunft wieder mehr historische Illustrationen wie die Panoramawand oder "IMPERIUM KONFLIKT MYTHOS" zu machen.

Die Illustrationen sind digitaler Natur: Da ich jahrelang nicht mehr regelmäßig gezeichnet habe, möchte ich bewusst mit einem Medium arbeiten, mit dem ich mich sicherer fühle, als direkt wieder analog zu arbeiten.

Interessanterweise finde ich, dass die digitalen Tuschen ganz gut meinen analogen Stil widerspiegeln. Allerdings sehe ich keine große Weiterentwicklung – aber das ist ja auch kein Wunder aufgrund der langen Pause. Von daher erfüllt der Inktober als Einstieg und Übungsplatz durchaus seinen Zweck.

IN ENGLISH: For Inktober, I've decided to connect the prompts to an overarching historical theme. At least roughly. The reason for this is that I plan to do more historical illustrations in the future, like the panorama wall or "EMPIRE CONFLICT MYTH."

The illustrations are digital: Since I haven't drawn regularly for years, I consciously want to work with a medium that I feel more comfortable with than going straight back to analog work.

Interestingly, I find that the digital inks reflect my analog style quite well. However, I don't see much development—but that's no surprise given the long break. So, Inktober certainly serves its purpose as an introduction and a place to practice.
